Connect Danalock to Unloc

Danalock must be calibrated in the Danalock app before it can be registered in the Unloc app. After calibration is completed, you will only need the Unloc app for daily use.

Make sure the Danalock is installed correctly before setting it up in the app. You can read more about installation here.

If you have already set up the lock in the Danalock app (and just want to connect it to Unloc), you can skip to Step 9.

Step 1: Download the Danalock app.

iOS (Apple): Download the Danalock app from the App Store.
Android: Download the Danalock app from Google Play.
Allow Bluetooth access if the app requests it. Read more about the apps here.

Step 2: Create a user profile in the Danalock app by clicking "Log in", then "Create account". Use your preferred email and password.

Step 3: Connect the lock to the Danalock app.
Click “Menu” → “Add new device” and connect your Danalock.

If multiple locks appear in the list, click the eye icon next to the serial number. The Danalock device will start blinking if it’s the correct lock. You can also check the serial number on the back of the battery cover of your device.

Step 5: Name your lock
Choose a name like "Ola Hermansen H102" or "Garage Block A".

Step 6: Calibrate the Danalock
Follow the steps in the Danalock app.
Important: Make sure to enable "End to end".

Step 9: Download the Unloc app from Google Play or the App Store and create a new user profile.

Step 10: Connect Danalock to Unloc
In the Unloc app, go to "Keyring" → "My locks".
Tap "Add your lock" and select "Danalock".
Tap "Connect to Danalock", then "Log in to Danalock".

Step 11: Authorize access
You will be redirected to a webpage. Log in with the email and password you created in Step 2.

Authorize Unloc AS to access your Danalock by clicking "Authorize". The lock will then appear in the Unloc app.

For daily use, you only need the Unloc app to lock, unlock, and share access. You will only need the Danalock app for settings like calibration. However, we recommend keeping the Danalock app on your phone.
