How do I factory reset Danalock V3?

It might be necessary to reset the Danalock to factory settings if the lock is sold, you are to move or someone else is to manage the lock. You can easily do this through the Danalock- and Unloc app.

Step 1: Log in with your user profile in the Danalock app. Select the lock you want to reset, then click "Device".

Step 2: Select "Delete device" at the bottom of the list - confirm by pressing "Ok".

Step 3: The lock must now be removed from the Unloc app. In the Unloc app, select "Settings". Then click on "Danalock" under your locks.

What is Danalock V3?

Danalock is a solid digital lock which can easily be mounted on the innside of your door.

The advantage of using Unloc is that you can share both permanent and temporary keys. Permanent to close friends and family. Temporary to craftsmen who need access mid-day and neighbours who are going to water the plants while you’re on vacation.

In addition Unloc is an open platform, meaning that it can be used with any type of hardware. If you for example have a Danalock at the cabin and Futurehome at home you can use Unloc to administer all the locks from one app.

Unloc also collaborates with several major service providers, among others City Maid, and Schibsted’s “Helthjem”. These partners offer you to receive home delivery without having to be home — by using the Unloc app as well.

With Danalock, regular keys can still be used for those who are not comfortable with only using their phone.

Unloc is free for private use and Danalock is compatible with most Scandinavian locks. Batteries last ca 3 - 4 years.

How to share a permanent key?

A permanent key can be shared with family-members or others who needs continuous access to the lock. You can choose to receive notification in the app when the key is used, giving you full control over your lock. Click here if you want to see how you can share a temporary key.

Step 1: Click on "Share key" at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2: Select which lock you want to share access to, then click "Next".

Step 3: Select the recipient (s) of the digital key from your contact list or by phone number.
