SaltoXS error codes

This article covers error codes specific to Salto XS locks in the Unloc app.




Detection & Connection


Error 6208: Lock Not Found


What happened:

The app could not find the lock via Bluetooth within the expected time.


How to fix it:

Hold your phone close to or tap it against the lock to activate it. Make sure you are at the correct lock and that Bluetooth is enabled on your device.




Error 6209: Operation Timeout


What happened:

The lock operation timed out.


How to fix it:

Hold your phone close to the lock and try again. Make sure to keep the phone near the lock until the operation completes.




Error 6400: Communication Error


What happened:

An error occurred while communicating with the lock.


How to fix it:

Try again. If the problem persists, restart the app or contact support.




Error 6406: Connection Lost


What happened:

The Bluetooth connection to the lock was lost.


How to fix it:

Hold your phone close to the lock and try again.




Access & Key Errors


Error 6203: Access Denied


What happened:

The lock recognized your key but access was denied.


How to fix it:

Make sure you are at the correct lock. If the problem persists, contact the key issuer or support.




Error 6211: Key Cancelled


What happened:

Your key has been cancelled.


How to fix it:

Contact the key issuer to get a new key.
