RCO UC (undersentral) Offline
Severity: High
Applies to: RCO lock connections
The RCO UC Central controller is offline. Users will not be able to open doors until it is back online.
How does RCO work?
Unloc connects to the RCO server, which then communicates with the UC (Undersentral) to operate doors. The UC is a local controller that physically manages the locks.
In this case, communication between Unloc and the RCO server is working, but the server is unable to communicate with the UC.

Why does this happen?
- Server restart — The RCO server (computer) was restarted. If this happens frequently, check if Windows updates are causing automatic restarts.
- Power loss — The UC has lost power.
- Network issues — The UC is disconnected from the network.
- Software issues — The UC Central service may have stopped or crashed.
How to fix it
Contact your RCO installer. Usually the installer needs to open the RCO software to refresh the connection to the UC.
If you're unable to resolve the issue, contact Unloc Support.
Auto-Resolution
This insight resolves automatically when a successful door opening is recorded, indicating that UC Central is back online.
End User Notification
When this issue is detected, end users with keys to the affected lock(s) will see a warning in the Unloc app underneath the open button, plus a more detailed description when opening the door page.
