IP lock error codes

This article covers error codes specific to IP-connected locks (remote locks) in the Unloc app. These are locks that connect via the internet rather than Bluetooth.

Connection & Network Errors


Error 9001: Unknown Error


What happened:

The lock operation failed due to an unknown error.


How to fix it:

Try again. If the problem persists, check your internet connection, restart the app, or contact support.



Error 9005: Lock System Timeout


What happened:

The lock system did not respond in time.


How to fix it:

Try again. If the problem persists, the lock system may be temporarily unavailable.



Error 9006: Request Timeout


What happened:

The lock operation request timed out.


How to fix it:

Check your internet connection and try again.



Error 9007: Network Issue


What happened:

The app experienced a network issue.


How to fix it:

Check your internet connection and try again.



Error 9199: Communication Error


What happened:

Something went wrong while communicating with the server.


How to fix it:

Try again. If the problem persists, restart the app or contact support.



Error 9499: Operation Incomplete


What happened:

The lock operation could not be completed.


How to fix it:

Check your internet connection and try again. If the problem persists, restart the app.



Access & Key Errors


Error 9202: Access Denied


What happened:

Access was denied by the lock system.


How to fix it:

Make sure you are at the correct lock. If the problem persists, contact the key issuer or support.



Error 9303: Internal Error


What happened:

An internal error occurred.


How to fix it:

Try again. If the problem persists, contact support.



Error 9307: Key Is Scheduled


What happened:

The key is scheduled, meaning it is not active yet.


How to fix it:

Check when your key becomes active and try again when the key is active.



Error 9308: Key Is Inactive


What happened:

The key is currently inactive.


How to fix it:

Check what times and days the key is active and try again during those periods.



Error 9309: Key Is Revoked


What happened:

The key has been revoked by the key issuer. You can no longer use this key to operate the lock.


How to fix it:

You will need a new key to operate the lock. Please contact the person or organization that issued your key.



Error 9310: Key Is Expired


What happened:

The key has expired and can no longer be used to operate the lock.


How to fix it:

You will need a new key to operate the lock. Please contact the person or organization that issued your key to request a new one.
