Owner Change Plugin
Unloc provides the Owner Change plugin, for residential customers. This automaticallly adds/removes the customers registered owners of apartments to Unloc, so that they are given keys when they move in, and lose them again when moving out.
How does it work?
This plugin is automatically activated for selected partners, and their customers. Once activated, Unloc reads out information about ownership of units, from our partners. We use this information to, every night, synchronize the ownership register for the customer, and update Unloc with that data.
We create one Access Group for each address connected to the customer, and then add the owners to each of these address access groups. This gives the customer full overview of which owner has been registered to which address.
Automatic creation of keys for owners
In order for apartment owners to get keys automatically, we require some work from the customers themselves. A customer admin must log in to the Unloc Control Centre to finish setting up the project for their buildings.
In the Unloc Control Centre, the admin should go to the menu option on the left, Access Groups. Here, the address access groups will show. They will have owners added to them, but no doors. In order for the owners to get keys created/removed automatically, we need the admin to add the correct doors to each address access group. This should be the doors that the owners living at that address needs access to. After adding the doors, all owners in that address access group will get keys for those doors.
Whenever an owner moves out, Unloc removes that owner from the address access group, and from the project, so that they loose all their keys.
Automatic update of Doorbell call list
If the customer has also bought the Unloc Doorbell product, it's possible to get the call list on that doorbell automatically updated.
This works only if the lock connected the doorbell, is also added to one of the address access groups mentioned above. If this is the case, Unloc will create a separate call list, which is populated with owners from the matched address access group. If an owner moves out, they will be removed from the call list in the same way they are removed from the address access group.
