Operational Insights and Alerts/Contacts
Introduction
Unloc continuously monitors and updates status on locks and access control systems the platform supports. This allows for Organization and Project admins to be alerted on necessary insights such as down time, low battery and irregularities.
All insights are listed on the Organization level, and in the Project with a lock having an issue. The insights can either come from what we read in the system, or from what a user has reported from their app. App reported errors also allows for users to notify admins about things outside the Unloc system. E.g. if a door is jammed, mechanical issue on a lock, or something else.
Insights are automatically removed if we manage to read stabilisation in our systems. For anything else, an admin will have to first acknowledge, and then resolve the case. See below.

Contacts
For Organizations, we highly recommend adding "Contacts", who can be notified via email about critical errors. For instance if an Access Control system goes down.
From the Organization level, go to "Settings", **and then select "Contacts" in the view. Click "Add Contact"**, and add set alerts to be turned on.
After they are added, you can choose which project they should be notified about. For instance, you might want to put individual janitors/technicians on different projects.
