Configure Access Groups

Access groups is a feature allowing you to allocate access to a set group of locks, to a set group of users. It can be set up on both projects and subprojects. Access in an access group can either be permanent, or time restricted down to certain days and time of the day.

Typical use cases

Access groups are often used for

  • Contractors who needs access to certain doors
  • Internal staff
  • Different departments in an organisation (e.g. one for janitors and one for regular employees)


How to set it up?
  1. From the front page in Control Center, go into "Access Groups" in the left side menu
  2. Click "Add access group" top right corner
  3. Give it a name and description (optional)
  4. Select the doors to be allocated to this group (**note: **this can easily be updated after the access group is created)
  5. You then select the settings of the Access group: Whether or not users should be able to create personal keys from their Unloc app, and if the access should be scheduled


Adding users to an Access Group:
  1. Once created, go into the group, and click "Edit users"
  2. Select the ones who should be in the group, and confirm changes
