Add a user to the Control Center

Adding new users to a project is done in a few steps. A user must be added to the project before keys can be granted to the user.

This article goes through how to add users, give access, as well as a breakdown of our import tool for adding users in batch.

A user needs the following details to be added:
* Phone number
* Name
* Note(optional).

Note is a field used to tag the user. For instance which apartment/hallway they belong to, or a company renting an office space. You can also use the "Label" identifier to group users after they are added.

Step 1: Log into the control panel here.

Step 2: From Dashboard, click "Add new user". Fill in the required information, before clicking "Add user". You can add multiple users at the time by clicking "Add another user"

Step 3: You are directly sent to a new window, where you either choose to exit, or to grant mobile keys. Click "Give Access" to share mobile keys to the user(s)

Step 4: Select the doors the user should have access to.

Step 5: Define the access details. Keys can be time-limited or permanent, and start right away or in the future. They can also be scheduled for certain times and certain days in the week.

You also decide if the user should be notified via sms or push notification (recommended), and if they should have a sharing right from their own app. Sharing right requires the key(s) to be permanent
