A permanent key can be shared with family-members or others who needs continuous access to the lock. You can choose to receive notification in the app when the key is used, giving you full control over your lock. Click here if you want to see how you can share a temporary key.
Step 1: Click on "Share key" at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: Select which lock you want to share access to, then click "Next".
Step 3: Select the recipient (s) of the digital key from your contact list or by phone number.
Step 4: Choose how long the person will have access to the digital key. If you want to give continuous access, tick "Permanent".
Click "Next" to get a summary of the newly created key. Select notification for when the key is used if you wish.
As soon as the key is shared, the recipient will receive an SMS with information about the key. If the recipient already has the app installed, or has had it installed before, the key will be visible in the app immediately.
